Joe Cipolla, Chief Executive Officer
As the chief executive officer, Mr. Cipolla is responsible for the growth and profitability at the Verona Golf Company including staffing the Board of Directors, securing financing and acquiring equity members. Mr. Cipolla has more than 30-years experience in the development and implementation of international business strategies including a solid mix of corporate and startup experience. Mr. Cipolla comes to Verona Golf after a successful career with Revlon where he successfully launched more than a dozen new products. Mr. Cipolla founded two successful medical companies Lifeline Systems Inc. and HealthLink LTD. Lifeline Systems Inc. is the largest personal emergency response corporation in the world. In 2000, Mr. Cipolla sold all his interest in the medical industry to pursue his love golf. Mr. Cipolla is a long time member of the PGA, played in several PGA events and successfully directed the Nike Golf Learning Centers for Arizona and New York.
Neal Duncan, President and Founder
Neal Duncan has more than 18-years of professional experience in planning, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and resolving problems for corporate marketing, direct marketing, and sales programs. He currently serves as president of AbleTel, Inc., where he provides creative and account management services, consults with clients, creates and manages numerous direct mail and telemarketing lists, helps companies implement and coordinate the next generation of marketing tactics, and manages several product development and marketing initiatives. Prior to co-founding the Verona Golf Company, Mr. Duncan served as vice president of client services at LifeLock and he was instramental in the startup and lauch of that business. Mr. Duncan earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Illinois University.
Tom Wilcox, Acting Vice President of Golf Operations
Mr. Wilcox, PGA Master Golf Professional, has been the Head of the golf operations at six noteworthy private golf clubs beginning with Sankaty Head Golf Club on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts and at John’s Island Club in Vero Beach Florida. He moved to the head of the golf operation at Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania in 1977, and from 1981 to 1997 was the Head Golf Professional at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, Illinois. From 1998 to 2001 Tom was the Head Golf Professional at Governors Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and most recently served as Director of Golf at Quintero Golf and Country Club in Peoria, Arizona, from 2002 to 2009. Mr. Wilcox became the PGA’s twenty-sixth Master Professional in 1986 and his master’s thesis on employment, “Putting Your Best Foot Forward” was published in Golf Shop Operations Magazine. He served as president of the Illinois PGA Foundation and is a national member of Golf Digest’s top 100 course panel, serving as co-captain of the Arizona Panelists. Mr. Wilcox is a native of Cleveland and graduated from The College of Wooster, Ohio.
Masahiko (Mick) Inoue, Vice President of Land Acquisition
Mick Inoue has more than 18-years of experience in all aspects of real estate and golf business both in Japan and in North America. Mr. Inoue started his professional career at Sojitz Corporation where he served as a senior vice president of one of their major subsidiaries located in Scottsdale, Arizona, represented ownership of Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona and The Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Rock, Colorado as well as other real estate investments. He served as a Director of Asset Management at Troon Golf prior to serving as a principal of Pinnacle Peak Land Company.
Christopher Venturina, Director of Membership Sales
As Director of Sales, Mr. Venturina is responsible for membership sales, recruiting affiliates and developing our partnership programs. Mr. Venturina brings more than 15-years of corporate sales and partnership development experience to Verona Golf. Prior to joining the Verona Golf, Mr. Venturina served at President of Tavina International where he led the sales strategy for several corporate clients. Tavina brought in more than 15,000 new customers for a startup internet company and managed a lead generation program for LifeLock, the leading identity theft prevention company. He also served as Sr. Business Development Director for Syntel Inc. where he helped lead the company's BPO initiatives within the financial services industry. Mr. Venturina earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
